I did not expect to receive the news, however, that my piece, &#8220;Mother&#8221; was chosen as the first prize winner in the pastel category by juror, Dale Laitinen!<\/p>\n<p>To say that I am very honored and excited about the show is a true understatement!<\/p>\n<p>The opening reception is tomorrow, August 7th and below is the information:<\/p>\n<p>From 6 to 8 pm<\/p>\n<p>1201 N Pershing Ave, Stockton, CA 95203<\/p>\n<p>Cannot wait to see the exhibition and fellow artist!
